Among all kinds of mechanical parts, the industry scale of gear is large. In 2014, the output value of China's gear industry reached more than 220 billion yuan, ranking second in the world. Small module gear is also in a very special position in the gear industry. Its industry scale is far smaller than that of vehicle gear with medium module and wind power gear with large module. However, the irreplaceable nature of small module gear makes it a key part of precision machinery, electronic machinery, instruments and meters, aviation equipment, timing mechanism and other equipment.
The national small module gear working committee was established in 2006, when the small module gear industry was still weak and scattered, with an output value of nearly 3billion yuan; After more than eight years of development, the industry now has an output value of more than eight billion yuan. More importantly, under the organization of the National Working Committee for small module gears and through the joint efforts of enterprises, universities and research institutes, this industry has its own cohesion and characteristics, and its personality different from that of the large and medium module gear industry is gradually reflected.
On the surface, the small module gear industry is a highly competitive field, and there is a market force pushing forward, which can be felt by every enterprise in the industry; But on the whole, we can still feel that there is a rational force at work, that is, our national macro industrial policy and industry planning are guiding.
